I have been in love with Flyfishing for well over 30 years now.  I've been fortunate enough to have fished many of the great Trout waters in this country.  I come from a family who is also very passionate about the art and dearly hope to pass my passion on to my two sons as they mature.

 

I am a custom Bamboo Rod Builder and Artisan.  I was trained in the art of making bamboo fly rods by my mentor, Ron Barch, who provided me with a invaluable foundation for my journey into this unique and historic craft.

I am always striving to continually improve my craft.  I experiment with different methods, both old and new.  My goal is to provide my customers with the finest casting and visually appealing rod I can possibly create.  

 

The heart of any good bamboo rod is how it casts, handles and feels but great asthetics are part of it's soul...

 

I make it a point to pull together all the various color tones of the cane with the reel seat, the agate guide and other component selection and will work closely with my customers to make sure our goal and vision of a great rod are melded together on each personal creation.
